Expressiones is excited to introduce a new series of ceramic workshops for children, adults, and families. These hands-on classes invite participants to explore the timeless art of clay while developing creativity, patience, and craftsmanship. Ceramics is one of the oldest artistic traditions in human history. Working with clay connects us to a tactile, reflective process—shaping forms with our hands, experimenting with texture, and watching pieces transform through the magic of the kiln. Our new workshops are designed for all experience levels and focus on accessible hand-building techniques such as pinch, coil, and slab construction. Participants will create functional objects and sculptural pieces while learning about the ceramic process from shaping to glazing and firing.
