This Summer 2025, Your Support Made All the Difference
This year has brought real challenges for many arts and community organizations like ours, with funding cuts rippling across the nonprofit world. It hasn’t been easy—but thanks to the strength of our partnerships, the creativity of our team, and the generous support of our community, we’ve continued to make magic happen for the children we serve.

And what a summer it has been!

Our 2025 Summer Program was bursting with joy, discovery, and connection. Every day was a new adventure: from outdoor games and nature walks to farm lessons and cooking classes that helped kids build healthier eating habits and confidence in the kitchen. We practiced teamwork, laughed under the sun at Dubois Beach, and formed new friendships with kids from the COMO summer camp.

There were yoga sessions and hula dancing, plenty of Oreo cookies and ice-cold treats, and above all—moments that showed our kids a life full of possibility and joy. We wrapped it all up with a barbecue celebration at Maple Lawn Farm in Stonington, where they played basketball, learned bocce ball, and feasted on hot dogs, burgers, and grilled chicken. The smiles, the energy, the fun—it’s everything summer should be.

This is how we want our children to experience their break: immersed in joy, growing through play and learning, and ready to return to school energized and inspired.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible generosity and collaboration of our extended community. We offer our deepest thanks to:
